I find that most of his main characters have anger issues and rather severe personality disorders, but Nathan Stone is just awful. He’s an absolute sociopath with a very poorly written history. Other reviews have compared him to Jason Bourne, he presents my like Jason Voorhees. This was a book with exactly one potentially likeable character and the pro/antagonist killed him to steal his vehicle and further his agenda. The only reason I finished the book was because I was hoping the main character would die in the end, thus redeeming the novel. In retrospect, I remember having the same hope for Reznik (one of the authors other characters in another series) as well. I would skip this book and this author overall. There are much better writers and characters in the genre that engage the listeners/readers instead of disgusting them. TLDR: Terrible read/listen, I felt filthy when I finished it.
