This came as part of my membership so I didn’t spend a credit. I would have been very upset otherwise.
There is no culprit or explanation defined in the first book of the series. It’s a seven hour foundation. It’s a little bland and tame as well. That’s fine for young adult readers but the fact there is no explanation for this fantastic crisis was very dissatisfying .
The narrator was OK, and I finally got used to his style and tone. Bland narrator plus bland storyline is difficult to endure. This narrator would be great in detective novels though. He has a unique style that would go great in that setting. I’m not certain even an outstanding narrator could make this story any better since there was no High Point or explanation.
