I’m about halfway through and am really enjoying this title. Already read the raw text as the author posted it elsewhere, but this narration of it really helps bring the story to life! I knew it would be good as soon as I saw that Jeff was doing it.

This story is well-thought out. The descriptions of how the world, religions, power system, and economy works seem to all be intertwined, which makes it all believable, even in this fantasy world. MC is intelligent and right away starts using his future knowledge to his advantage after getting over his initial shock of being young again. Seems to hover on a nice grey line where he isn’t some edgelord but also isn’t the perfect nice guy. Power system is neat. It’s like the author took a generic system but then ripped it apart and turned every aspect into a card so that it’s highly customizable.

Jeff Hays does great! There in the beginning a couple of words seemed slurred with the accent but it straightens out quick and it really brings out a kind of old London feel. I cracked up when that dude came in that sounded like Tom Hardy in Peaky Blinders. That was pretty cool. As always, Jeff’s range is crazy!

This is definitely worth a listen!
