I love Sherlock Holmes mysteries and was surprised to find this author. While he is new to me, he is not new to the genre. This was a very satisfying story to listen to . Complex, as is expected, but beautifully descriptive of the characters, locale, and story development. I listened to this nearly straight through and it kept me entertained through a car trip, unpacking and closet cleanup. All are projects that require entertainment for me!
Narration by Mr. Hendrickson was very good. With multiple characters and accents ranging from Minnestoan (distinct to those of us living in the south) to the British we have come to expect in the Sherlock Holmes stories.
If, like me, you enjoy a complex mystery with our friend Sherlock, this will be a great addition to your library.
