The narrator in Book 1 made the story. He really brought the characters to life. The narrator for the rest of the books barely distinguishes accents in comparison, and the flaws in the story surface with the near-monotone, limited emotional expression of Kafer’s narration. Debating whether I want to continue the series after such a great start in book 1.
