I love the switch of narrators. Don’t get me wrong, Luke Daniels is a legendary narrator; however, by March 2020, it was clear this would be the year of Travis Baldree, and so far, it has been. The story was just as good the 2nd time through, only in my opinion, I feel as if Travis leveled this title up with his narration. The only real nitpciky thing I focused on during the original release was Luke going into his “goofy” voice, which always reminds me of a cartoon bear or something. This book is a lot of fun, and I like the boss fights and tribute/trade piece to the game system. Other than always being in Nightmare mode, if this was a real game, I’d play it, which is always a decent marker when rating LitRPG titles. Looking forward to Book 2!
