If you don’t like clever alliteration mixed with lots of obscure pop-culture references, you probably won’t like this.

Also, you’d be better going to Volume 1. The first four books have a more coherent arc and storyline. Volume 2 is more disconnected. But each part is fairly good. The fight scenes are inventive and fun.

Every few minutes, there’s another brilliant piece of fun wordplay.

For a mix of poetic pop-culture, artful alliteration and constant combat carnage, this is the best book since The Iliad.
