Since we have a few backyard chickens to provide us with fresh eggs, I couldn’t resist giving this series a try. It’s a nice story but a bit slow paced. I may try Book 2.? The series seems to hold promise. It’s a clean cozy mystery with just the right amount of romance to suit my taste, just took a little longer than needed to tie up loose ends IMO.
