Very much loved the books, any one who says “it’s a different story!!” Or “it feels like a different author!!” Are straight up silly.
Very strong progression series with fairly unpredictable events that leave the reader on their toes. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to every second and I’m purchasing the next book as soon as I can. There may be a cliff hanger at the end but hey, that’s a common trope among ANY piece of media, it keeps the reader wondering what happens next.
To anyone on the fence about getting this second publishers pack, do it!! Especially if you liked the first pack, this one is a great listen. Joy, sadness, tension, hype, all that and more waits for you in these books!!
