Needed some work.

Book 3 was fine, more slice of life and character build up, though it needed more or the peaceful school life, training and interactions. Like a year or two spent with less big things happening. Book 4 is sadly a mess in a lot of ways and everything that happens in the final act feels like it should have happened when the MC was like 15 and had spent a few more years training and becoming stronger. Other negative comments give more spoiler type details and unfortunately they are right, it’s just too rushed and smashed together when it didn’t need to be. And dear god the ending is absolutely terrible. Last thing, I am a big anime nerd and the author clearly is too, but he started out with a lot of the good stuff and then it turned into a dime a dozen Isekai trash, I’m hoping the 5th book will redeem things some, Otherwise I’ll be done with it.
