Books which portray the future with regard to global climate change are important. It was recommended because it was supposed to be just that. Out of the 106 chapters at least 20 were non sequiturs and went nowhere. Much of it was filled with agonizing irrelevant details while other sections glossed over vitally important events (e.g. the downing of commercial aircraft or the assassinations of oligarchs who benefit from spewing greenhouse gasses to name just two). If you’re an author, read the book and generate a new one on the same topic which can hold a readers attention. Portray a near future we are sure to face is the first step to minimize global catastrophes.
