This story had some potential but the narrator ruined it for me. He made the “heroine” sound like a teenager and a mindless one at that. It prevented me connecting with her and wanting to learn how this would turn out. I am sad as I really tried to get into this as I wanted to see how Drago and the Isle of Dragons overcome the curse of the Sea Witch. Sadly it meant I had to suffer through the horrendous “female” voice. Although I am not sure the voice is the only issue with Carly. I had to keep telling myself this was an adult and not a child.
