Gah- this guy shouldn’t read romance. He recaps love scenes like a sports announcer. His cadence and inflections rarely change.
As for the story. Completely typical vamp romance. Immature girl forced into the company of a cocky old hot vampire, they reluctantly fall in love fast for no reason. It’s just interesting enough to let someone read to you though. It seems like the author was made to shorten the book or just got bored writing it when they go to Europe. I’m not sure why she would stuff the entire trip into a chapter essentially saying “they had a great time and got closer to one another. He was so nice to her and showed her a great time but they still didn’t sleep together” Uhh… I think you skipped over the opportunity to actually show us how they fall in love and to build up sexual tension there.
