Narrator likes the sound of his own voice

Honestly, the narrator does not read fluidly. You can tell he’s really thinking about how he is pronouncing things. It takes him a full second per Word. No wonder this is 40 hours. I had to put it on 1.2 speed for him to just sound normal.

I’m not entirely sure I can make it the full 40 hours either this book drags on and on and on and there is no character development whatsoever . It’s just a bunch of griping and moaning. These people would die in the first five minutes of a zombie apocalypse. This is like some rich teenager turned his 10th grade creative writing project into a book.
