The premise was ok, and the story wasn’t terrible. I think if I was reading this book, I would have stuck with it. But the narrator ended every sentence on a low note. It sounded so hokey, I just couldn’t get past a few chapters. I tried, Listen to the sample to see if it doesn’t bother you, and if it doesn’t, it’s probably a good book. I should have done that. Oh well. Grateful that Audible allows returns.
