Mystery, suspense, loved the characters.

1 star for such well developed, relatable, loveable main characters, the Audible narration was absolutely perfect!

1 star because there is no unnecessary profanity, explicit sex or blood/gore used just for shock value.

1 star because there is no political agenda or trying to “educate” the reader on a (often controversial) subject.

1 star because the plot unfolds subtly, is evenly paced throughout the book, and characters personalities are slowly developed. There is eerie suspense throughout and subtle clues that lead the reader to figure it out without over explanation from the author.

1 star for such a hopeful, satisfying ending that does not leave loose ends.
