I loved that King of Souls picked right back up where Prince of Hearts left off. And the hits and twists just kept coming. As Nicco and Arianne navigated the terrible situation they were placed in I was totally engrossed. And as they uncovered secrets and found themselves or their loved ones in dangerous situations I was fully invested. And when things wrapped up I was left impressed by what I’d just read and excited for what was to come.

I didn’t always know who was good or bad in this story, but in this world L.A. Cotton created, I think that was part of the beauty. Not everything was what it seemed on the surface. Friends could become enemies. Family could become strangers. And you can find your heart in the most unexpected of places.

I truly enjoyed Nicco and Ari’s story and look forward to Enzo’s turn as leading man.

Narration was excellent once again. Both narrators did a great job of bringing this one to life for me.
