This book kind of came out of no where for me. I hadn’t heard of this author until they were mentioned in my audio book group. But I read the blurb, saw who the narrators were, and knew I needed to experience this story. And I’m so happy I did. Krystina and Alexander were so fun to learn more about both separately and together. I enjoyed their push and pull, the intense bickering that was just building and developing things between them but gave me the kind of dialog I love. And the suspense and secrets kept me listening and enjoying it all.
The narrators Lacy Laurel and Jeffrey Kafer are two I already knew and loved and honestly made the decision for me to give this author a try. I knew that I would love listening to them if nothing else. Once again, they did not disappoint.
Thank goodness this book was also on Kindle Unlimited so I got the pleasure of reading and listening at the same time and felt like I got an even better experience for it.
I cannot wait to get started with the next book in the series and see what is next for Krystina and Alexander.
