This book immediately captured my attention and held on firmly until the very end. I love paranormal romance, especially of the shifter variety. I love Alpha men who find their match in strong women. Women who are dominant in their own way. Ava was that kind of woman and Damon was that kind of Alpha man.
This storyline was fantastic. Pack dynamics, interesting secondary characters and in particular a very entertaining granny. I really hope I’m going to get more about some of these other characters in future books.
Jeffery Kafer did an amazing job with this one. I’m typically more in favor of a male and female narrator for these type of books. But he was so good I didn’t really care about that in the end. I just kept listening and loving what I was hearing. I will absolutely be looking for more from him in future and hope he narrates more in the series.
