The absurdity of this story is beyond measure. The writing of Barry J. Hutchison had me screaming, hooping, hollar’in, and moaning and the brilliance of narrator Phil Thron just increased the hilarity and nonsensical content of this story! As for the story, the three primary characters, Anna, Randy, and Sam were beyond and one could not help but to fall hopelessly in like of the unlikely super hero’s. There was so much that I liked about this story…even though I will admit that I wanted to reach through the speakers and throttle Sam and his self-perspective at times…it all worked and it was awesome. Each one, whether it be Butterfly King, Allergy Girl, or Kid Random has such endearing qualities…but just like doing the potato test or being surrounded by huge plastic phalluses or longing for a nice sized tissue…I loved this story and I so recommend…especially if you are a Super Hero Nerd like me!
