This was my first book from this author and I will definitely read more from her. I fell in love with the main characters and the story, as soon as this book ended, I got book two and finished it in less than two days. The writing is not perfect, I wish the author will give us more of this world and some side characters are very superficial, but overall, the story is really good.

Joel Leslie is great, but some of the characters voices are down right creepy, so sometimes, I don’t know if the character is good or evil. I will definitely continue listening to this series.
