I did enjoy this book…however…I have a personal rule that the author should not assume a successful series in the first installment. To start a series and leave the first book in a cliff hanger should never happen. This is a personal opinion of mine but the first book in any series should be, for the most part, standalone. Then let the reader decide if it would be worth continuing with future installments. I may…or may not purchase book 2.
As for Jeffrey Kafer’s narration…he always gets 5 stars from me.
