I was disappointed in book 5 of the first Divine dungeon series when the narrator switched and spoiled it. however, this series renews my faith in the author and thankfully all seven books are with the same narrator.
book one is a slow burn as it should be. deep in character development and making you fall in love with the new main character.
this might be the best writing I’ve read since The Fountainhead however not too flowery but this book is deep and rich and philosophical and emotional goodness.
at a philosophical level, book 1 interrogates the relationship between identity and chosen family. there are times in this book that I felt the need to replay it just because the words of encouragement were needed in my life at this point.
the authors interrogate how we form identity and the underlying reasoning behind what gives each identity its value.
the bucket, the well, or the village?
I am excited to read all 7 books.
Enjoy
