My Best Friends Mardi Gras Wedding is the first book in the Boys of the Bayou series. This book is told from dual points of view by Victoria (Tori) and Josh.
Josh is a Bayou boy whom lives in Louisiana. Tori lives in Iowa and was visiting for Mardi Gras when she bumped into Josh working at the bar she went into. They had instant feelings, but she was on a short stay. The decided if they still had feelings they would meet at the same bar one year later.
One year later and Tori is back for her best friends wedding. She goes back to the bar and kisses whom she thinks is Josh, but it ended up being her best friend. So trouble pursuits. She goes to find Josh on the Bayou to tell him how she feels.
They end up spending the whole time she is there together. Something happens during the wedding, which makes them really evaluate their feelings for each other. Does he do a big gesture to show her how he feels? What happens after the wedding?
I really enjoyed this book and am excited to listen to the book.
