I’d listened to book one almost a year ago and was completely lost when I start listening to this. There’s no re-introduction, no segue, no “look back”. It simple starts the precise moment book one ended. It’s al.ost as if the series was written as a single read then divided into 3 books. It was so disorienting because I didn’t even remember what the characters looked like and the book didn’t reacquaint reader with any of that basic necessary info.

Story was good, more relationship oriented than I like but good enough that I listened to the whole thing.

Of course a large part of the reason I listened to it all was because of Joel Leslie. One of my top 3 narrators!
