This was my first military novel.When I started listening, I was not sure what to expect. I really enjoyed this book. I liked that we were introduced to main characters before they joined military. In some way, it helped to relate to them better. Sam and Max, both loved music and it was one of the main things that draw them to each other.
Also in this story, we saw how music was helping people in many situations in their life, difficult and joyful.
Narrator did a great job; she was excellent with accents, different voices and languages.
