This is written from the murderer’s point of view, for the most part. It’s hard to listen to how callous he is, but also very insightful into the mind of a psychopath. The book allows you to draw your own conclusions of how evil a serial killer is, and how much their nature is derived from environmental factors and inheritance. The voice of the reader is very palatable. It’s equal parts dramatic and journalistic.
