I saw many reviews comparing this to blood and ash, which I did not enjoy. The heroine and blood and ash is too juvenile and naiveor my taste. The heroine in this book is it’s strong, loyal, and determined although stubborn. I enjoyed listening to the narrators paint each scene and emotions with their talents. Amelia doesn’t amazing job creating a world within a world. There are a lot of layers to the story as well as the characters leaving you wanying more and jumping straight to the next book.
