I confess I bought this only after seeing positive reviews. There’ve been so many lightweight SF or LitRpg novels running amok I just didn’t have the stomach. Still, the premise sounded good. I left it in my wishlist. I wish I had bought this earlier and enjoyed it thoroughly. A fun twist on “do good things and get rewarded” carp that I had too much of, the only drawback is the one others have mentioned regarding the repetition of some charts. Otherwise it’s just fun, fresh, and much deeper..slavery, for example, is not always encountered in contemporary SF..so it makes you think. Hopefully there’ll be more. Narrator does a good job keeping the people “separate” to our ears, not always an easy task. Well worth a credit.
