I first experienced Mal in The Sunny Side which is Dean’s story and wanted to know his background. This is how Mal and Cadan meet and it’s everything I expected from Lily and Joel and more! I love Lily’s quick witted characters who’s sharp tongues protect a soft heart and while Mal’s heart may not be the softest his bite does a good job of warning people away from his softer side. Cadan is his perfect match and able to keep up with him with incredibly smart and funny dialogue. Joel does an amazing job brining these men to life and I absolutely loved this one! It’s a bit shorter than other of Lily’s stories and perfect for those times when you need a quick listen and laugh! This story really melted my heart and I know I’ll be re-listening to it often!
