I could not stop listening to this story even when I was overwhelmed with emotion. It tells so many stories at once and explores the realness of complex, diverse relationship dynamics and the many evolving roles one person may walk through over the course of their life all against the painful yet masterfully told backdrop of the atrocities of war. It is relentlessly exciting, heartbreaking, vicious, poignant yet inspiring and beautiful.
