In the first book of the series, Ethan spends a lot of time with a new group of players and is learning how the game works. In this book, he is immediately separated from his group for the majority of the book. When the other characters are mentioned, Ethan spends a lot of time thinking about the woman in the party. Odd for a married man whose sole motivation to come into the game was to save his wife. While still a good book for sure, it just struck me as odd.

The narrator did a fantastic job narrating this story!
