If you hang glide and follow the seagulls to catch the currents, you will always wind up circling the city garbage dump. It seems all prepper stories have the main characters having to defend themselves with guns against the criminally inclined. What saves this and why I did not give it one star is there is some mention of raising your own food and livestock, plus an excellent story about getting roped into letting the government “take care of you.”

Will not rule out the sequel, but will be disappointed if it is mostly gun battles.
