The narration was still quite good but the story wasn’t moved very far from the last episode. Kaylan continues to become stronger with her remote-viewing capability which proves pivotal on several occasions. However, the deference that the Boxen, a much more advanced species, seems unrealistic. Also, Zack moved from being an interesting super-hacker to an annoyingly cloying partner to Kaylan, often exhibiting false bravado when she is out into perilous situations. Their relationship seems a bit stunted and bordering on formulaic.
