Honestly, I’m not impressed with the magic system in this book. Also there are a huge number of people and places to keep track of in this, but the summary at the beginning of the third book helps.
However, the dialogue of the characters is awesome. I appreciate the witty banter and one liners between the main group. Jase really carries the whole thing.
