This is an amazing 10 book box set. I love this series and listening to all 10 books was great, as each book fed into the next. Clara is in high school and has no idea she’s a witch. She finds herself in a parallel universe that is occupied solely by vampires. Thankfully she has the amulet her grandmother gave her. It’s more than just a necklace. This series is action packed, fast paced, intense at times, intriguing, has wonderful characters, and wonderful world building, with a mystery or two to solve, and a secret or two to discover. Will Clara find her way home or will this land of vampires be her new home? This is a good series to listen to on a long road trip. It’s good for the whole family with children ten and up. I definitely recommend this series. It’s one I’ll enjoy again and again.
Narrator Rafe Beckley does an amazing job. There are so many POVs and each person has their own voice. I never got lost as to who was talking. That is why this narrator continues to be a favorite of mine. He has a way of drawing you into the story and not letting go until the very end.
