Started off slow and unsuspecting. But became a beautiful arc of personal growth.
Only big criticism was the pronunciation of Japanese words. I don’t speak Japanese but I’m familiar enough with some words used to find the incorrect pronunciation jarring. Maybe they are just spelled differently in the book and I don’t know because this was a purely auditory experience. But from my perspective they sounded very off.
