This is a story that has a darker side. I really loved the first book…its all happiness, smiling and getting to know the characters. There are hints of the darker side of Corbin but he held them in check. In the second portion or book 2…their world is turned upside down and we get to visit some clubs that show a seedier side.
My favorite parts were in the beginning. I loved all the rock wall climbing that Vivian does. She is very inspiring and the excitement she shows pulls Corbin to her. She also has a great relationship with her parents.
I did listen to this on audio. The narrators did a good job and are easy to listen to.
