Let me begin by saying that I actually enjoyed the first book, but this one took a sharp nose dive around halfway through in a scene where half the female characters are ogling our protagonist while he tries on clothes,and then the rest of the book just seemed to be either him ohis female crewmates lamenting the fact that romance between crew members is forbidden. I was listening on 3.5x speed just waiting for it to end and it never did, it kept going right up until the end. I’ll definitely be giving the rest of this series a hard pass.
