Book 8 of the Cradle series. At almost 15 hours, this is significantly longer than the typical 9 hours for the previous books. I still want it to be longer! Will Wight has created a unique and original world with interesting characters. He has done a great job of integrating plot lines throughout the series, so that even things from book 1 are still relevant and gaining greater clarity!

In this book the Uncrowned tournament from book 7 finishes. I really enjoyed the details of the fights and finding out what prizes competitors got and used. The main characters continue to grow in original ways and romance also becomes more defined ^_^. By the final hours of the book, things really start to escalate and be revealed in exciting ways! Closes many threads very nicely, but definitely leads plenty for book 9!

Thank you Will for writing this original and engaging series that is far cleaner than many fantasy books today, allowing me to escape from reality while I listen. I can hardly wait for more! Please continue writing longer books in this series without bloat, as you have done with this one.

Narration by Travis Baldree was excellent as usual. Character voices are distinct and the book is easy to listen to for hours at a time.
