I found the story had very little point. The series of events that happen to Charlie is somewhat interesting. However, I found myself wondering the point of the story. Other than basic survival, Charlie barley does more than blow in the wind. He had no real goals. With no goals, I found I had nothing to look forward to. Only the end made me hopeful for what comes next, though I honestly am not sure I want to start another.
The narrator has a nice calming voice. I almost liked it, but found that the sing song sound was putting me to sleep. His range of voices where also minimal.
