It’s hard to classify PA scenarios as fiction anymore. Franklin Horton is always at the top of the line here, with another wonderful story about a college girl named Grace trying to get home from school after an EMP terrorist attack. Her name is also Code name Locker Nine. One amazing thing about all of the PA writers is the originality within the general EMP disaster story. You’d think they would all be the same story over and over again. But each one is original and the characters original. Ray is a seedy character in this story. No doubt they will likely come into each other’s orbit at some point. This is a great start to the series.
I’ll say it again and again, but Kevin Pierce is the voice of PA dystopian fiction. He just has the voice for it. He’s the guy you want to tell you what happens after an EMP attack. His calm, steady voice is like an anchor. But he can also play the seedy guy as well. He’s a marvel of a narrator, the best of the best.
