Better than the first book and I do l like that Anna works with her husband on the male, technology and military aspects as it makes for a good read.
The H is more than 2000 years old and he has the hots for a 21 year old. That goes against the 1/2 your age plus 7 rule of thumb! The h is definitely a bit juvenile but, she is just past the age that she can legally drink.
Rant #2 for many authors in this genre… The guy has been a jerk and wants to shut the woman up… What does he do? He kisses the breath out of her, whether she wants it or not. He has sex with her while she is pissed off. Here in 2020,many would call that sexual assault! Do women really like that? Really?
This book is in the erotica category which means lots of sex. It starts out very hot but after the 80th scene, it almost becomes boring.
