No overarching plot to this book as compared to the first, so the reader isn’t nearly as invested in the outcome. The end of the book is pretty abrupt, almost as if they stopped in mid-conversation and said “The end”.

The MC seemed more whiny in this book and acted in immature ways with characters in the real world, to the point I found him irritating. I probably won’t read any more books in this series, if it continues.
