Another great piece of “historical fiction” from Mr Eckert. I really enjoyed this book. It goes over the same time span as his other books on audible but more from the Indian perspective & delves more into the tribe member individual personalities and relationships among & between the tribes. Even tho it does go over some of the same events (battles, etc) it does so with a different focus than before and in no way feels like a re-telling or rehashing of the same events. I would STRONGLY recommend this book for anyone who enjoyed The Frontiersmen or That Dark & Bloody River.

The narrator was good, tho I thought at first I wasnt going to be able to make it thru due to my personal distaste for over enunciation, but he grew on me as the chapters passed & was no issue at all. Deff not worth missing this book over.

I Really wish Audible would pick up the other books in Mr. Eckert’s “Winning of America” series.
