This is a delight to listen to because you feel like you are meeting her and going through all of the details of the flight even though she was a passenger on this one. I got the wrong version first and it was an old recording and reader didn’t sound anything like Amelia Earhart just reading words. There was much more to Amelia Earhart than just her flying and she’s smart and funny and just real to me now. I’m a fan of Amelia Earhart and now a fan of Pamela Almand who reads this like she really is Amelia. And she is a pilot too and her introduction shows how much she appreciated Amelia’s accomplishments for women. Make sure you get the pictures and drawings that come with the audiobook are from the flying logbook that she wrote and make it even more real. I learned more about Amelia Earhart listening to this than anything else I knew about her and I am going to listen to any more of her books that Pamela narrates.
