Ward Carroll is a great story teller. I spent my time in service with Army Special Forces, Field Artillery, Army Security Agency, Chemical Corps, etc. from enlisted to officer. Never knew much about Naval ops or aviation. His incredible writing style and attention to detail helps me understand (at least from literary aspect) what the fly fly boys (and girls) have to do. Good job Mooch. I’m sure it doesn’t capture everything, but opens the door for guys like me. I will get the next book as well. Old Goat spec op dude
