Interesting twist on the amoral vampire as semi good guy. Throw in some other vampires, lycans and a Nephalim and you have an interesting mix. The story takes some unexpected turns that I won’t spoil. Suffice it to say that the main character acts in his own best interest.

There’s the usual plot lines, all female vamps are sexy, all males are handsome and the twain do meet.

Apparently blood type does matter, so if you are O+, you may have a higher risk of being a taste treat. Beware!

Some plot lines seem a bit undeveloped or are quickly introduced without enough backstory. The whole becoming a Hunter theme seems a bit rushed and convenient.

All in all a fairly good effort with a setup for a sequel or series.

Maxwell Zener seems to struggle a bit with the accents, but overall does a decent job of narration.
