IMO the two best things about this book were not the plot or the MCs…but rather Joel Leslie’s narration and the prince and his fiancé other than that, it was just alright. It was not poorly written or anything like that, story flowed well, and it was easy to follow and the jewelry aspect was quite interesting and even the treasure dig. The thing is, everything was surface about the relationships, so then the story gets meh, as you are not really invested in the characters. Again, I will repeat the prince’s story I want to read like yesterday. Overall, a good book, that was entertaining and I would recommend it if someone was looking for something like this.
