I wasn’t sure what to expect with this book, but I knew I loved the narrator so I gave it a try. My only disappointment came when I finished the book and found out there wasn’t a second one…yet.
The story kept me listening and the characters were well developed, so much so you actually want to see where their stories go.
The story didn’t focus on the apocalypse as much as most books like this do, instead it was more about the people and how they act in these situations.
Barb is a bada$$ and Ragus went from annoying to admirable, and Conner stayed the same from page 1 to the end. Loved it!
